Is the Lost River now the only biome to find any or am I just too blind/unlucky to find them anywhere else? Boom, an infinite supply of Gel Sacks at your fingertips. Once youve grown one, collect the seeds and plant more. You can then plant the seeds in an external grow bed to grow your own. Once located, hit it with your knife to collect seeds. Another thing is I don't really know what plateau you are talking about.
Can you be more specific, ive already checked by the auroa's borders and didn't find anything. Are there any other locations where I can find them? Wiki also had Yellyshroom caves listed but I couldn't find any there so far. To farm Gel Sacks, you will only need to locate one. The gel sacks can still be found near the Aurora and in the borders of the grassy plateau (red grass) if you swim down into smallish mushroom caves. However, the Gel Sack itself can be used in crafting to make Aerogel, or you can put it into the Bioreactor for 245 energy. Wiki says there should be some near a trench at the Aurora but I seem to be too blind to find them or they got removed from there since I skipped several updates I can't tell. Seed: Gel Sack Spores Grown In: Underwater Exterior Growbed, Alien Containment You can harvest Gel Sack Spores from a Gel Sack by using a knife, and this is commonly found on cave walls. To cut to the case like the subject of the thread says, I have problems finding the Gel sacks to build my PRAWN suit. At least it feels a lot less then before for me. Still, it is worth farming because its a key component of the wiring kit. Really love the lower energy use of the Seamoth, Seaglide and Cyclops. Subnautica silver ore may not be used to construct as many individual items or upgrades as other crafting materials.
A single piece of this light and airy material requires 1 Gel Sack and 1 Ruby and. So I had alot of new things and small balance changes to discover. If one wishes to get anywhere in Subnautica, figuring out where to find Rubies is one of the first big steps. Last time I played the PRAWN-suit was not in the stable version.
I really liked all the new features they added because I hadn't played for quite some time now. I recently started a new game in survival mode shortly after the Coffee update.
